It
is the
immense
territory
to the
south
of the
river
Colorado
which
name always
implies
some kind
of adventure.
To the
east,
the never
ending
cliffs
over the
Atlantic
ocean
with important
fauna
reservations;
in the
middle
a huge
steppe
with a
population
density
of 0,5
inhabitants
per km2
while
to the
west,
there
is an
extraordinarily
beautiful
landscape
with the
Andes
mountain
range
rising
majestically
from the
steppe,
its big
lakes
and fast
flowing
rivers,
National
Parks
and glaciers.
The most
southern
portion
of Patagonia
is still
a virgin
area,
an area
of the
planet
that looks
just as
it was
towards
the end
of the
glacial
age (10,000
years
ago).
In this
region
you can
find some
of the
most spectacular
and most
beautiful
granite
massifs
of the
world,
therefore
it is
a dream
and a
challenge
for climbers.
